1. Sanggananda Giri Memorial Temple and Panchvati Mahashashman, Wahedpur.


Sanggananda Giri Memorial Temple


  There is a memorial temple of Sri Sri Sanggananda Giri in Wahedpur village in Subil Union after a hundred years of history. In this temple, every year on Buddha Purnima, various pujas and ceremonies are held for three days in Mahasamaroh. These rituals include the first day of residence and congregational worship. On the second day, Mangal Aarti, Morning Shiva Sangeet, Shiva Puja, Vishnu Puja, Guru Puja, Saptasati Chandi Path, Pushpanjali and Mahaprasad distribution in the afternoon. In the afternoon Dharamsabha and congregational prayer at Vishwashantikalpa and at night at Smriti Mandir Mahashakti Puja and congregational prayer. The third day is worship and home of Goddess Sheetala. On this occasion, many pilgrims from various districts of Bangladesh and India including Comilla, Brahmanbaria, Sylhet, Dhaka and Narayanganj districts were welcomed.


Transportation - From Debidwar Upazila Health Complex Gate, CNG / Rickshaw can be used to reach Wahedpur Bazar.

2. Shrine of Hazrat Kalai Shah (RA), Wahedpur.




350 Awliyas from distant Saudi Arabia arrived in Utkhara area of Devidwar to preach Islam. Among them, Hazrat Kalai Shah (RA) crossed the Gomti and came to Wahedpur village and here he widely spread the religion of Islam. Which is the indication of this present shrine. Every year various annual Orshas and Mahfils are held at this shrine. Currently, development of the shrine along with an orphanage is going on here.


Transportation - From Debidwar Upazila Health Complex Gate, CNG / Rickshaw can be used to reach Wahedpur Bazar.
